Scotland is not only famous for its whiskey, but also for unusual sports. In order to pit themselves against others and relieve excess energy, the Scots invented rope pulling. Strong men pull on both ends of a rope in order to achieve their goal together. This is not only extremely efficient, it also releases energy in very small spaces.

The THALETEC heat exchangers also offer this energy while taking up very little room. Many meters of tubes are lying closely together, exchanging their energies. They are not only extremely efficient in what they do, but also absolutely resistant which distinguishes them from the rope pullers. We produce glass lined heat exchanger tubes for chemical plants, flue gas desulphurization systems, for heat exchangers in power plants and industrial combustion plants.

Our production is unique worldwide. The glass lined tubes are submitted to an automatic electrostatic powder coating process in a production line with a length of more than 60 m. The freedom from pores and layer thickness of the glass surface are continuously monitored by highly sensitive sensors.

Our glass lined compact heat exchanger in WTU design with gasket-free - and thus GMP-compliant joints has been optimized for good thermal transfer on the basis of bundles of heat exchanger tubes.

A new component in our product range is the SiC heat exchanger, which even withstands the influence of corrosive products on both sides.
